Case Simulations in Persistent Angina: Collaborative Approach for Assessment and Management– Despite recently published, evidence-based guideline recommendations, gaps persist in the care of patients with chronic stable angina. In this interactive case-based simulation, participants will navigate through the assessment, treatment, and management of angina in both first-line and refractory settings. Individualized considerations and collaborative decision-making for patients with persistent angina and those with cormorbidities will also be explored.
Differentiate the assessment, treatment, and management needs for women and men with CSA.
Apply validated disease and symptom assessment tools to guide treatment and management decisions for patients with CSA and comorbidities including type 2 diabetes.
Assess relevant evidence and guidelines to inform effective decisions about antianginal therapies for patients newly diagnosed with CSA and for patients with angina symptoms despite the use of first-line therapy.
